To be fair, I also bought a Samsung Galaxy 2S. That's the problem with having a family. I can't do anything in singles, it's all done in threes. Amusement park? No $4 soda for me. If I'm thirsty, it's $15. Hungry? $47. Need a phone? It's not $100, it's $500.

Morning cuz, feeling hungry yet? Me too

I'm not an Apple fanboy, but I have an iPod Touch, so I'm familiar with the interface and the software. It was mostly down to whether I wanted Android or IOS. I had a chance to fiddle with an S2 at the shop and it seemed like a decent phone. I don't watch movies on my phone, though, so I don't really care about how well it works in that respect. I have a checklist of things that it must be able to do and do well. If the S2 does those things, I'll keep it. If not, it's getting dropped so fast it'll make your head spin.

    Don't even get me started.
This is why I don't buy Apple products. You do it the Apple way our you don't do it at all. (Ya I know there are ways around it but still.)
I can't understand buying a products that you can't even change the battery in. This is just nuts.
I gotta stop or I'll keep going.
I'm not even going to read the thread, just post my opinion. This is absolutely why I refuse to buy Apple. They have a right to be control freaks, I have a right to not be held-down, or controlled. So I'm sticking with Android. Just bought a new honeycomb tablet a few months ago... I will NEVER own anything apple; had an Ipod once, it was aggravating to say the least.

I would be embarrassed to have the ringers I hear from peoples phones. You can tell they are too because they always move so fast to answer all while looking around to see who is laughing at their ring tone.

Btw 351 days until I can unload my crap htc evo for an iphone. Thank you sprint for getting it like 6 months too late or I wouldn't be dealing with this crap phone.

No offense, but I would be slightly embarrassed if I was you for reacting in such a major way over a small problem. It seems that you are the only person that had any issue with custom ringtones, which leads me to believe it had something to do with the user, not the product.

No offense, but I would be slightly embarrassed if I was you for deciding what is a wrong way for someone else to decide is a problem for them...

With just a quick search of the Net I found several reports of the Same Problem the OP suggests having amongst several other issues with the newer iPhone.

Next time you want to jump straight to being a condescending fan boy of something try to be just a little less crude about it, OK...
