I tried zooming in on the picture with the writing on the barrels, but it was too blurry to read once I did. Couldn't see any other markings. :dunno:

Thanks! I have not been able to find any info on this gun! My dad got this from a house that belonged to a friend of my mom's. He got it for nothing back in the 70s. I don't even think its been shot in 40 years. I am thinking about having it reblued, but not sure on that yet. I just want to get the replacement screw that I can get it back into shooting action!

From the look of the age and wear on the gun, I want to say that it was made in the 1930s or 1940s. Thoughts?

http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Products.aspx?catid=13586 I am thinking part 18 is the one that I need.

May or may not help but the link to the 101,when I looked at it the lettering looked exactly like that found on Stevens/Savage 311's. When you look further, you find Stevens in fact made the 101 for sears.

I am not saying it will work but you might look at 311 exploded views and see if the parts listed match yours.
