My "affordable" is pretty low so im gonna say a RIA standard G.I. 1911 and a Mossberg 817 int 17hmr. Pocket change for most but life takes priority over gun money most days.

I need one like another hole in my head, but I have recently become aware of how reasonably priced ex-Israeli police CZ-83's are. A caliber I don't currently have ammo for, and a poor one at that, yet I just can't get it out of my head because of the $200 price.

I've been in the market for a new shotgun for a while now.
could I just walk in to walmart or LGS and swipe a card to get it?
    yes.
    am I going to?
    no.
    lol
I'm saving a little here and there
so as to soften the blow (financially) when I finally buy it.
quite frankly, I still can't decide if I should just pull the trigger
and get the basic Remington 870 that I've been looking at...
or save a little longer and snag the beautiful Marine Magnum
that currently calls my name every time I walk into Highsmith Guns.

There's nothing I'm really dead set on right now. I'm sort of it "I'll know it when I see it" mode.

I'm wanting to upgrade some of the guns I have right now over buying new ones. Glass for my Ruger American, a red dot for my 10-22, maybe have my Match Champion cut for moon clips...

I want one of the Caniks and a Ruger American in 30-06 or 270. I don't have a real rifle-rifle (except for a Mosin that's not very accurate) and the Caniks just interest me.

I feel your pain. I have a few I sold back when. Now it's hard to buy considering what they sold for and what they cost now. That's even if you can find them.
