I think I bought mine for around $230 off a gentleman nearly two years ago. No bayonet though.
I hope you have a stash of ammo though. I'd guess that you've seen what both the surplus and new production is going for nowdays.


I nearly forgot. For on-topic answer to the OP.
Best deal for me would have to be the $55 out the door Delton AR-15 lower receiver I purchased around this time last year.
But for a complete rifle, I'd have to go with the $205 shipped refurbished MAS 36/51 that I picked up from a collector. Unfired since refurbishing. I know these went for a little less many years ago, but I bought this one about 3 years ago.

Nice. I need to get an MAS36 at some point but I keep finding other things first. I do have a couple of Stutzens also... one Budapest and one Bulgarian contract gun from Steyr. Someday down the road I'd like to get my hands on a BRNO. I do love these things, but you ain't kidding about the ammo. I have a stash, but it's small enough that I don't take them out often... and my shoulder thanks me.
