Right, but the body armour is probably equally important or more so than the gun. After all, crazy dude just starts shooting and yer first the gun don't mean much. The body armour buys you the time, hopefully, if shot to actually return fire.

The gun is critical, surviving to use it? I'd say just as much if not more so.

Of course, I don't have body armour so I'm hopeless... but I do think about it.

    Regards,

    Doug

If the guy shoots you first... you're probably dead anyway

Yup, armor saved my buddy's life. BG got the drop on him (action beats reaction) and Greg took one to the gut. The armor allowed him to return fire and kill the BG.

The only thing that shocks me is that it took so long.

    :coffee:

Considering the past and forces at play, yeah why not.

If I lived down there I’d tell ‘em to go straight to hell because I’m no more responsible for what happened in Christchurch than any ordinary American citizen is for any mass shooting here. The stupid seems so obvious. Why are we penalizing droves for the actions a handful? Not me, no sir. Come and take them.

    That's also done here.
All gun owners are guilty of whatever some deranged person does.
