I've stayed at the Lafayette a couple of times in the last three years with riding buds to spend long weekends and ride the area. Beautiful spot. The ridgelines up/around the Ohio River are fun!

I’m partial to the boxer twin R bikes but those K bikes - in the 1200/1300 livery - pull like rocket ships. Go for it! You only live once.

My 2022 Kaw. KLR650. I live in NE Indy, looking forward to riding this weekend and putting tons of miles on this year.

I finally picked up my 58-liter top case after work today. Man, this thing is enormous, easily swallows two full-face helmets. Now I have to play with all of those fiddly little lock springs and tumblers to match my ignition key. I think I’ll do this inside a big clear bag in case I launch something into orbit.

Now, if the damn weather would just cooperate! I’m sick of this crap!

I had cruise control along with track pack added. I spent some time over the weekend decatting it. With stock muffler it sounds mean. Unfortunately I can't upload the file as I am not tech saavy. I tried the attach files but it wasn't in the correct format. Go figure! Weather sux to go ride.

It's such a different kind of riding than I'm used to, my other running bike is a ZX11 Ninja. Talk about opposites!

I'm still getting used to how he handles and how tall the saddle is.

If there’s a good destination some of us could meet up at that would be cool. Maybe south of Indy, probably? Maybe an INGO Riders Club (with permission of course).

I’d like to meet fellow INGO riders (I’m based in Brownsburg). Please reply here if you’re going to be out and about. Rick’s Cafe Boatyard is a cool place to hang out on the deck overlooking Eagle Creek Reservoir, especially around sunset. Lots of dedicated motorcycle parking up front too.
