A light well thought out instrument for survival-you surely wont go into combat with it but its a hell of a good idea-:D

This would add barely any weight to your "BOB" bag! A good source to use for taking small game which equals food!!

I have a problem with accumulating weird .22's and I may need one of these. wish the cap in the grip wasthreaded and a threaded barrel would be cool.

I like my Marlin Papoose. It is more accurate than I am and is of good solid construction, even if it does weigh a few more pounds. I pack four extra magazines and about 100 rounds of extra ammo and dont notice the weight a bit. I also have removed the butt plate, hollowed out the foam in the stock to keep the contents of an altoids survival kit in there. The grip cap comes off and I have 7 extra rounds of ammo in there too.

Anyone besides me thing that maybe a trigger guard would have been a good idea?

I know it is a pack and survival gun, but still. You are stranded and out to pop a squirrel, bunny, or something. One tiny slip up and the trigger hangs up on something and BANG.:ugh:
