    I was lucky enough to take my daughters shooting at MCFG this afternoon for my birthday. They liked the 22 and really liked the 44. Can't get much better than that.

    Thanks for the good words. I try to start each range session with the safety rules, even if I have heard myself say them before.

    I'm joining MCF&G this coming week, and plan to bring my 10yo daughter with me as often as I can. Getting a .22 rifle on 'extended loan' from a Marine buddy of mine for her to learn on and I can't wait to break in my new XDm 9mm.

    Looking so forward to having a family range day! But as our kids are only 4 and 2 it will be a while. Just me and the hubby for now :) However it is really cute to hear our daughter say but Mommy I wanna go to the rangement(her word for range) lol!
