Don't know, but without knowing one other fact, I'd cross those precincts off my list if I were looking to move there.

I am wondering how many other times this has happened in the recent past.???

If reports regarding the RIP vote influencing Kennedy's election, then we likely have not seen an honest election in my lifetime with the caveat that the honest vote in some cases was likely large enough to cancel out the fraud.

Have any of the people who voted for Romney in these districts come forward to say that their vote was not counted?

The article states that, while improbable, it is possible that Romney got zero votes in these precincts.

Will be eagerly awaiting complaints from actual voters in these precincts, rather than the wailing and gnashing of teeth of the partisans.

Not mathematically impossible, but some districts had 100% turnout with 100% Obama vote. Very unlikely.

I didn't see 100% turnout mentioned in the article, where did you get this information?

Also, one precinct had 542 votes registered. I can see how a small, extremely Democrat precinct could end up with zero votes for the Republican, especially one as unlikeable as Romney.

Will wait to see what the alleged Romney voters in these precincts have to say about it. Surely, we will hear from them soon.

OK - so, not even 1 person voted for Romney accidentally either.

I think you would have a better chance of flipping a quarter and it coming up heads 542 times than you would have of 542 people all voting for the same person in any neighborhood.

Given the locations of these places, I might say it wasn't outside the realm of possibility that it happened. Philly? Cleveland? What's the demographic makeup of these precincts? Both places have high concentrations of democratic voters.

    How is this mathematically impossible?

    :+1:

After reading the article, I didn't even see a hint of impossibility. Unlikely? Maybe. But not impossible. Not politically, and certainly not "mathematically."

    Math is hard. :):

Statistically impossible - there is that better?

    Statistics are part of math.

    Stop arguing over semantics.

Did any of these precincts in Philly have republican poll watchers or were these the same precincts that kicked out the republican poll watchers? If so, I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

I'd say if Cleveland made your short list of places to move, you've went wrong somewhere in life already. From the people I know from Philadelphia, I'd say the same thing about people wanting to move there.
