    Mass shooting template

    1. Outrage and grief
    2. Praise for 1st responders
    3. Precursors of act will be identified in the next few days
    4. Attack 2AD blame weapons not people
    5. Do nothing to prevent the next attack

We have to adopt the Israeli model of schools
    1. Limited access points and proper access control
    2. Armed security inside and out
    3. Drills that make sense (shelter in place last school fire with deaths was in 1958 fire is not a priority)
    4. Parking lots with stand-off (nobody has addressed a VBIED or secondary IED attacks)
    5. Trauma Packs in place and rudimentary training for use by teachers (many of the casualties are bleeding out waiting for EMS)

It takes trained personnel with a bit “roughness” to protect our children.

There should be one next to every fire extinguisher.
More companies are offering different options and I believe more schools are getting equipped.

Sylvain - That is a perfect set up I hope we can get them in all the public schools !

Many companies offer similar things. One large box with multiple individual trauma kits that you can throw to people.

Having them next to AEDs is also a good option.
Not sure if AEDs are very common in US schools, probably not as common as fire extinguishers.
You probably don't find them in every hallway like you do with fire extinguishers.

The kit from NAR even comes with a letter and easy to follow instructions both on the case and inside every individual kit.

I'm curious what's the percentage of schools, or public buildings, that are equipped with those.

Maybe with have INGOers working in schools who could tell us if they have anything like that.

Santa Fe High School shooting suspect surrendered, waived his Miranda Warning, and admitted to shooting multiple people inside the high school with the intent on killing people, according to Probable Cause Affidavit & Complaint. The suspected gunman said he did not shoot students he did like so he could have his story told, according to the affidavit.

I was surprised when I heard he was arrested.
They usually kill themselves as soon as the cops show up or get killed by the police (or other good guys with guns).

I assume he was unarmed and not threatening when the cops found him.

I can not even imagine what his story is.

Responsible thing to do would be to keep him locked up, nowhere near a microphone or the press... and let him rot without allowing him to get his nonsense message out.

But I'm sure he'll get interviewed somewhere... and say his piece in court. And someone will leak it.

They claim he planned to kill himself, but chickened out. Probably what the .38 was for.

My guess would be that’s a leftist trying to pour on as much bull**** as they can. **** like that is probably in the leftard handbook!

    Could be.

But then I'm reminded of the old adage "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."

The media coverage fuels these massacres.

Instead of a healthy browser history, filled with the typical porn sites you'd find on a normal 17 year old loser's computer, this kid's will be full of links to MSM sites detailing the horrific acts committed by his "heroes". His goal won't be simple revenge, but to garner the attention his predecessors did.

    This. 24/7 on multiple channels.
They changed suicide reporting because of the copycat effect.
So I wonder if they're doing this for ratings, or in order to force a copycat effect.
