Hello Everyone!

I have been trying to learn as much as possible about handguns, and I very much enjoy and appreciate the information I've found on the forum.

My husband has pistols, but I had never shot any, nor did I grow up with them. With his encouragement, I finally applied for my cc permit, did some shooting, and will be taking a defensive pistol class.

This site is great, even though my sleep has been shortened with all the reading I've been doing!

It is a License To Carry Handgun (LTCH).
You can Open Carry, or Conceal Carry. Your choice.
Indiana Code is silent on the issue.

Glad you joined. The information can be overwhelming at first (as well as the acronyms) but you will get the hang of it. Now get out there and get to shooting. While its intimidating at first, I'd suggest getting some training to get you more comfortable. After that, go shoot some steel matches found under the section "Shooting Sports". Its probably the most fun for newer shooters compared to the others. Plus, the instant feedback from shooting steel is awesome
