I'm surprised at all of the lumenok love. Other than the fact they've been around the longest, I didn't care for them.

Getting them to turn off is a process, and more often than not they'll come back on.

Of the several brands I've tried, Carbon Express is the simplest to shut off, and they STAY OFF.

I went with Omni-Brite for no other reason than they sell them branded as my xbow/arrows. So far so good, they work as advertised for a dozen shots or so and one that dropped on the floor.

... added a thill bobber light from wally world & I'm good to go.
I wonder if these are all the same? Omni-Brite sells replacements for $5 per.

Thanks Hickman, I normally do. I was concerned I might have some wide fliers after the Omni-Brites install. Next is testing them with the practice broadheads.

Lumenoks for Goldtips here. Never had one not light, but they are kind of a pain to turn off. A couple seconds each at the range with the point of a pocket knife isn't too bad for what they offer. Mostly irrelevant in the field. At $8-10 per, I tend to shoot one per spot instead of groups! So far I've only shot them to 30 yards (all the space I have handy) but haven't noticed a POI difference.

+1 for Lumenoks on GoldTips, a tip though, dont use a pocket knife, just use the tip of your fieldtip either on a practice arrow or keep one in your pocket. I find it does less damage than a pocket knife and less risk of slipping in cold weather and cutting your hand.
