I would keep my eyes open for a good Finnish mosin nagant (maybe m28, m38 etc.) There were quite a few of them that were rebuilt on old Russian M91 receivers and are considered antiques. Plus there is ammo available for them and they're really accurate.
Heck I do know, So what do we call all those Henry-Martini Mk IV looking rifles built in the late 1880s with Enfield on the side chambered in 577/450 ????? I swear to you put a 303 round in them and just drops down the barrel
Another nice "surplus" gun out there are those ppsh-43c.. A pistol version of the PPSH-43.. And right now there was at least 2 at the Stout Field show...
