I call 'em fibbies . . . .cause they lie.
You know the screen that comes up before a movie on a VHS tape that says "FBI Warning" and tells you not to copy the video? I remember as a kid first learning to read I used to read it as "FIB Warning." Didn't learn till much later how close to the truth I actually was... (or maybe I was just dyslexic, lol.)

Ah, What would we do without compression. When I make the texture files for my 3D work, I typically use lossless TIFF formats. Especially when the texture requires 16 bit depth. Before LZW is used, which is a lossless form of compression, the "4K" textures (4096 x 4096 pixels) I mostly use are 48 MB's saved at 8 bits of depth (64 MB's if there is an Alpha Channel). The character in my avatar use several different sizes of image textures. Her body is an 8K material, which in lossless format is well over 100 MB's per image (material will have several image textures).
I just used a Hewlett Packard Flatbed Scanner.

    I remember voting with punchcards.
    Seemed so easy then.

I’m just disappointed my vagueposting didn’t garner more attention LOL. I’m not a computer guy guy and definitely don’t have a Commodore 64. I was just trying to be first on the new guy who looks to be trolling
You never know where a thread, or a post, will go.
