You are obviously quite wrong Bug. Everyone knows this joint is a classifieds/rummage sale website first, with the occasional discussion about pineapple on pizza, appropriate bacon doneness and macroeconomic socio-geopolitical theory, in that order.

By the way, I have 42 DVDs of the 1973 film The Emporer of the North Pole on sale, $0.75/each, two for a dollar. Buy three or more and get a free order of roasted nuts.

I find myself becoming a skeptic, learning what I have about shill accounts in the last few days. I now look at folks counts and join dates. Never did that before, being a nu-bee myself. But now I find it hard to believe in new members after the last new-old shooter. I don’t like that about myself. I’m here for fun and entertainment and reading about one of my favorite things, guns.

This merits some introspection.

The depth and breadth of real world, practical knowledge here is without equal in my experience, and free for the asking. The good folks of INGO have helped me find solutions to any number of problems, and I like to think that I have had useful info a time or two

I just think of the rest of it as the entertainment it is, whether it is playing 'whack a troll' or arguing politics (which I take too seriously because somebody has to)

Edit: Shill detection is like watching a whodunnit and the runup to a burning man is like watching a disaster flick. Who needs cable

100% agreed, just the last guy caught me off guard. I’m not used to that. Once bitten twice shy. Now I’m prejudging and leery, things I don’t like in others and to find myself doing that is something I’ll have to deal with.

No big deal, just have to adjust the ol’ internal compass.

This morning I was all set to try and convince everybody to stop "feeding the troll" and respond with nothing but "I feel bad for you".

Poor Epicenity, I hope they find the help they need. If nothing else, maybe they can return to a crowd that empathizes with their cause.

I offer them sympathy because there was nothing brave or bold in what they were doing. I imagine that somewhere is a Atheist, liberal, social justice warrior that now feels justified in their hate, disdain and anger towards the world, society, and themselves.

That's sad.
