I have met CM, on at least two occasions, and HE is VERY GOOD people .....

He can be frustrating, if you disagree with him, but I kinda like him. He did go over board and nobody was sticking him with a sword as he walked the plank.

No. It's not all that simple. Something made him go off on a mod. Somewhere in the middle of the thread he stated something to the effect that he had been preparing for that thread all his life. It was apparently that important to him. And it got shut down.

When he chased people away with his demeanor, he tried to goad them back, ironically deploying the same arrogance that caused them to leave the thread in the first place.

Just so I can clear this up, I always hate banning a long standing member like ATM.
I know what he has done for the firearms community. I know he is a solid constitutionalist.
I also know that 1 member can not be as disruptive as he has been lately. Just because you start a thread you do not own it.
I would hope he comes back in a different frame of mind.

I have made multiple attempts to get a-hold of Pudly. None have been responded to. This is another sadness for me. It is possible that in the scrambled eggs mess that sent him into self induced exile I might have not helped.
