Here's a video my GF out together to put on my forge tik Tok that she started for me. Here's me forge welding a handle on a forge tool I made in my last live stream.

Had a person buy a knife but wasn’t crazy about my floral carving on the sheath so I made a new one for her.

Pretty sure this is the ugliest knife I’ve made, but it’s only a railroad spike I forged out just for fun, it is pretty useless as an actual knife. View attachment 362925

A couple paring knives finished.

Fitted the rod to the piston, fitted the piston to the bore. Finished up the crank shaft, added the intake & exhaust ports, added the crank pin. Made up the flywheel, naval bronze with an aluminum hub held on with Loc-tite.
Please note the quarter

I don’t reload but I do save my brass. Wanted it deprimered so threw together a depriming kit. Base is the bottom of a small gas cylinder I made a wind chime out of, top is a propane cylinder and the rod was from a discarded fireplace set that I added the pin to. Works good.

The M16 was so exquisitely detailed that there's enough room in the cooling holes on the triangular handguards for me to use some stretched styrene sprue. Stretched very thin over a candle and cut into very small sections, then super glueed in place. I then painted them flat aluminum to simulate the gas tube

I remember doing those tiny little intricate details on models, sometimes my eyeballs would hurt after a while

As I have aged I have been relying more on magnifying goggles and I have to stop after a while or my eyes are out of focus for hours afterwards

I used one of the blocks I cast earlier this year to fulfill an order for a 25th anniversary gift.
It's difficult to see, but in the last pic, it shows the cap finial turned from the block material to match.

Not the best pics, but I suck at pics and using a crappy phone.

I have a red block that I might butcher up next.

A quick afternoon project. A Mobius models HAL 9000 interface. It will have a voice box in it as soon as the micro switch arrives that plays a clip from the movie with HAL speaking.

However right now I've run into a problem, HAL will not open the hobby room door.

Not quite finished but this one fought me every step of the way and now that it’s basically done I really hate the handle, except it feels great in hand and has really good retention. I’ll post better pictures once it’s completed
