    So you would prefer that all "idiocy" be outlawed, or only the types in which you inclined to participate?

    I'm guessing you're for repeal of the 21st?

    Cheers :40oz::buddies:

    As previously stated, Im not for idiocy in any shape or form. I dont believe in consumption of any substance to the point where someone cant function (pain meds being an exception, because many people on them cannot function to some extent or another without them).

    I dont care if its drank,smoke, huffed/ snorted, ate, or injected. Bad is bad, regardless of form or method of consumption.

    Bad is bad and immoral is immoral.

    The question, however, is whether the potential for lethal force in preventing acts considered by some to be bad or immoral is legitimate.

    Also, considering the utter and complete failure of the "War on Drugs", the comparison of proven massive outlays vs. a likely revenue stream is extremely relevant.

    The only "bad" act with which government should be concerned is one that harms the life, liberty, or property of another.

    Smoking a joint in your family room doesn't do those things, no matter how foolish it may be.

    The meme about funding terrorism and gang violence via drug purchases falls flat here as legalization would actually dry up these revenue streams.

    Could the need for useful bogeymen be relevant to the question of why the drug war is perpetuated?:dunno:
