Damn, for a mid tech I thought the new Diskin folder for $500 or the Medford 187 F for $425 were great bang for the bucks, the butcher is just awesome

I'd spend $400 in one of those big beefy bastards if it felt right and flipped well for me

    Hows the lock up?

They flip great and lockup is solid....around 30%ish. They are RIDICULOUSLY sharp. If you check out @bladecousa on Instagram, there is a 10s clip of me flipping it.

Just picked this up. It's so ugly I fell in love. Plus, I couldn't resist the cpm 3v, and it's super sharp strait out of the factory.

here are a few of my recent bushcraft blade acquisitions. I been really into the 4-5 inch blade range these days. plenty big enough for pretty much anything. and beasts. even the mora is a awesome little blade and pretty rare along with the ray mears gransfors bruks bushcraft axe. I love it too.

ray mears mora 510 and bushcraft axe

Tom Krien bushcraft XL. this thing is stupid, insane sharp. great kydex work also. handle ergos are amazing. got it in plain old O1 tool steel. Maybe next time I score one in a high speed stainless but this thing is awesome.

And last but not least my busse SOB competition finish and tigerhide micarta. probably my favorite user score from blade. this thing is just awesome. if you can pick one up on the exchange I highly recommend it.
