Very nice gun! I prefer the XD's over the glocks just for the difference in grip angles.

welcome to the club. got mine for Christmas. you will be happy with it, im sure. if I ever come across an XDs in 9mm. I might have to get it for the wife. only because mine fits so comfortably, but she is afraid of the bigger .45 round. congrats on a fine weapon.

I currently have a XD40 Sub-compact but you are right they feel chunky to carry so usually it's my winter carry gun, looks like I'll have to check into the XDs

Just picked up my new EDC today from Elmore's Firearms...shoots like a dream. XDs .45...

ok, I`m new to the newer semi-autos, so I gonna ask a stupid, to you guys, question. The triggers on a lot of these guns look like they have 2 triggers. What is the purpose of the little sticking out one?

the extra trigger is a safety feature, so you press it down before you get to the actual trigger, the XD's also have the grip trigger on the back, something Glocks don't
