The perv was on a flight with us to Miami a couple of years ago. We later saw him in a private vehicle heading out towards South Beach which we probably know what that was for now! Hopefully this is just the first of many "come to Jesus" meetings he'll experience over the course of his sentence! Somebody send the armed robber an INGO hat!!:rockwoot:

This is what's wrong with our justice system. Prison should be the punishment when that is the sentence. Not rogue "justice" carried out in the form of violence by inmates.

People saying "good" or anything along those lines.....well, I have nothing good to say about that.

What goes on inside those walls is all part of the experience. Without the unpleasantries, it's just low income housing.

I know that's what he'll wind up with, but he still deserves a medal. Child abuser abuse is a public service.

He wasn't convicted of child abuse. He was convicted of possession of child pornography, and paying for sex with a 17 year old. He's on the hook for at least 13 years. Sure the possession of child porn is sick, but considering he didn't manufacture or distribute it, the sentence seems especially long.

In that case, we should just let him go. I'm sure he only had sex with that one minor. And I'm sure the 17 year old was not a sex slave at all. I'm sure he would never have done business with sex traffickers. And statutory rape and the money he used to support child pornographers is not abusive to children in any way. I know he didn't get convicted of slapping kids around. But what he did is abusive none the less.

My sympathy level is registering a solid "meh" right now.

Make up your mind to what type of America you want to live in; one that punishes people on what we think they've done, or one that punishes on what we can prove. It's very likely you are correct about ALL of what you said, but it has to be proven.

I prefer an America where the punishment is meted out according to due process of law and not randomly while people who are paid to prevent this look the other way.

Im comfortable with my stance on rough justice given only what he was convicted on. Perhaps we need to find a way to add a charge of accessory to sex trafficking if it can be shown the prostitute, minor or otherwise, was a slave.

Whatever, Church, you're closet Kut supporter. You just can't go on record too often because then you'd have to endure the wrath of the INGO mass too.
