Jan '12 1500: Indy 1500 1-13-14 & 15 Going?

With gun sales continuing through the roof do you think there will be many "deals" at the 1500? I haven't found anything I considered a great deal at the last few shows. Anyone else finding some real bargains?

I hope so. We plan on going also and will be looking for a couple
Of different guns. Im sure it wil be very crowded

I am looking for a couple of specific guns, taking 3 or 4 to sell, and plan to buy 1500 or 2000 rounds of .223 ammo plus a couple of other calibers.....And 2 holsters, couple of parts, about 20 bore brushes and whatever else I can think of....Will be there most of Sunday....John

I plan on going on Friday and getting there when their doors open at 2pm. I don't care much for big crowds and I dont like being rushed, so I always try to go to events at the earliest or latest times to avoid "elbow-to-elbow" if I can.

I'm leaving at 12-noon Friday if anyone wants to ride along.

Im not exactly sure what he means about equipment exchange but for me it is swapping guns and knives and gun parts for what ever I need.the last indy 1500 I swapped some used pistol clips for a T bolt cilp and a new M1 garand stock set for 8lbs of powder.In my opinion that doesnt count for much you have to really work to get a good deal.

Going Friday , my oldest son is taking the day off and so am I. Plan on a father and son hang out day at the 1500. Going to be a great day!!
