It's simply amazes me how desperate the liberals are to keep from getting found out of their treachery.

    First, I appreciate the sincerity.

(all this is my humble opinion)

We have a lot of menial labor needs. Farms need cheap labor to cheap us Americans happy with low grocery costs.
In my experience when an alien attains legal status, he will leave the farm and seek higher paying work.

    Don't care.

First, laws don't govern how I treat other people. There's no way you can say it's moral for me to mistreat others because of what Caesar says. The Nazis told the German denizens how to treat Jews - they called them vermin, mentally incapable, a threat to their country... oddly similar.

Second, EOs are indeed proper, though I think they are overused and potential in need of reform (how many did Trump issue?).

And dude, seriously, you need to spend a couple of weeks in Romania studying the history to see what a real dictator is like.

I feel like I need to reiterate - I do not approve of illegal immigration, I am for immigration reform, I will love every human regardless of their status; I will extend compassion and grace just as my Savior did to me.
I am way over self described Christians that use the cudgel of love thy neighbor to promote their political agendas. The Good Samaritan took care of the man but did not give him his wife, daughters, house and lands.

Christianity is not a suicide pact…

Not the first time immigrants ate cats and dogs. La Crosse WI in the early 1980's got a big influx of Hmongs. In neighborhoods where they moved in the stray population decreased. Not an urban legend but fact. Different countries eat different things.
I hear that there are places where people actually put pineapple on pizza!

    Who’s law is this?

You are the one claiming to know what the law is on immigration, that EOs are not law and that what is occurring is occuring to an unlawful EO. Not me.

So What is the constitutional process that defines legal refugee status? And what EO are we talking about?

Yeah let's just ignore the enforcement of duly passed laws already on the books and bellow about the need for new legislation when we are overrun on account of ignoring existing legislation. WTF?
You are right! Let's enforce all the duly passed laws!

Is this one still on the books?

Not as far as I know pertaining to illegal immigration.

Oh so it's only immigration laws duly passed that should be enforced?
My comment was pertaining to illegal immigration and the lack of enforcing some laws pursuant to that which have an effect on that issue. You can wander off on some strange extreme tangential law about girl's panties all you want. Don't expect me to humor you.

According to some here we shouldn't enforce all immigration laws. If I were to do any of the following, I certainly would be subject to prosecution, because I'm just a citizen. It appears that elected officials are immune.

(all this is my humble opinion)

We have a lot of menial labor needs. Farms need cheap labor to cheap us Americans happy with low grocery costs. The laws, the courts, the total system is terribly antiquated and reeks of late stage communism in the Soviet Union with their planned economy. The laws aren't keeping up with the pace of society and industry. Too many politicians want to score points for their next election rather than take on the hard problems.

South of the border is a mass of workers ready to take on those jobs for cheap but all this anti-immigrant rhetoric is just mucking it up. Will they send money back to wherever? Of course! And that will help lift up those countries and reduce the pressure on our southern border. Better we get something (cheap labor) and alleviate the crisis. Have we learned nothing from Berlin? You can't just put up a wall and magically solve the problem. Or look at the drug wars - we can't keep it out. Why fight the current when you can use the current to make power. Exploit the influx.

Then there's the STEM - India and China have top-notch engineers (eh, maybe not India so much...) who want to work for America, but we're too damned caught up in this quagmire so they give their skills to China (our enemy). Better they come here and work for us than for China. (Indian skilled workers are now crossing into America from Canada illegally)

We're a prosperous country and as such our own birth rate are decreasing. And neither party seems willing to acknowledge that we could end up like Japan - an elderly population with no one to actually do any work and production.

First, almost everyone I work with is Indian now. For every native born American I work with, there are probably 5 Indians. So it's not the case that Indians are giving their skills to China because America shuns them, at least in my experience. Also, Indians I work with are top notch engineers.

Also, I'd like to make the point about dropping birth rates. It's not that people aren't ****ing. It's that society, pushed by ideological feminist ********, is not interested in having kids anymore. So we think we have to import immigrants to make up for the lack of purposeful ****ing. How about we just go back to purposeful ****ing.

About being a prosperous country, I honestly don't think that's going to be the case, and it will have nothing to do with legal immigration.

Well. While you're loving them, can you just love them in Haiti? I think for people with very different cultures, it's not so great to just dump 20K on a small town. I would support helping Haiti be better. And help Haitians have better lives in their home country.

I mean. That kind of thing seems maybe a little virtue-signally. I mean. Go ahead and signal it. Maybe just not from the rooftops. And. who said anything about mistreating? Who is advocating that you mistreat them?

So loving someone where they are is virtue signaling?

    That makes no sense.

Can debate the right or wrong of what has happened. Can debate what needs to be done. Has nothing to do with my direct conduct towards the person in front of me right now.

I may rub elbows with a criminal that has murdered someone and got away with it but I have no clue it happened.

How do I know the Haitian standing next to me is an illegal?

Am I supposed to card everyone that has an accent?
