My girlfriend asked me why I needed an AR-15 and more than 2 boxes of ammo. She's not anti-gun, she's never really been around them until me, so she doesn't really get it. I told her I wanted it, it's my right, and she can shut her liberal commie mouth. That apparently wasn't the right answer as I got the hands on the hips and "oh really" look. I told her it was a good home defense weapon for when the riff-raff wants to come around to our part of the country side(outside Mooresville). She was good with that answer. Also...she's not actually a libtard.

Tell you what... I got a 10.5" upper and pistol lower (waiting on SBR tax credit)* and it would be a close call between that and my Glock if I had to check out the o-dark-thirty bump in the night. Depending on the perceived threat, it would bring superior firepower to the fight most likely. Once I get the SBR, I might actually keep my suppressor on it, too.

*Not an actual tax credit, but that's how I rationalize it.

Please don't read anything more into this than a simple question but ....... at what point will somebody, anybody, a group, an entity of us individuals, actually rise up with arms in hand and say ENOUGH? Where is the line? What will it take. What is the line in the sand, or in our case the cornpatch?

And I'm ok with you having an AR-15, or as many as you want.

I have been wondering the same thing, for the last 7 years .....

Why do you need an AR? Because without it, you can't celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Day.
