Actually I match that description closely. Exceptions are I am not a staunch democrat or republican, however I am a registered republican. Also I would own guns for other purposes other then self defense. I enjoy shooting as a sport. So going with 9 on this one.

I generally carry a compact sized EDC, but I've found myself pocket carrying a snubbie more and more recently.
