    Heck, I'm young and I think that's wrong. Any modification to an old firearm should be quickly reversible and leave little to no trace it's even there, IMO

    It is just an old winchester not the Mona Lisa.
    Probably the only rifle the poor sob can get licensed for in the uk. If it were something super rare it would be sad but it's just some guys workaday tool modified to suit his needs.
