    What's the Fineness/Composition mean then? I thought the .900 was 90%, as opposed to .999 or .9999.

It is listed at .9 and 17.2 g, so eliminating the .1 copper content gives you .5 ozt of pure gold, which I would assume would be .9999. They added the copper to 1/2 ozt pure gold to make .9.

But you know what happens when you "assume..."

Similar to the U.S. gold Eagle and gold Buffalo. They both contain 1 tr oz of gold but the Buffalo is .9999 and the eagle is .999. The Eagle is alloyed with copper(?) to enhance hardness and durability.

That's why i like Krugerands. Not only are they super well known throughout the world, but they were minted with actually being circulated in mind, so they have a hefty dose of copper and such. Gives them a cool color as well.

"The United States Mint will not strike 2022 Morgan or Peace dollars, with Mint officials identifying silver planchet shortages as the reason for the cancellation of the planned coins."

Looking like a good day for PM's in foreign markets, especially Silver and Palladium.

Platinum and Gold not doing bad either.

The gist of the chart above is that when the chart is increasing, gold is outperforming the Dow and when the line is decreasing, the Dow is outperforming gold. I'll leave it to you to decide what part of the Dow/Gold cycle we're currently in.
