I feel bad for anyone trying to break into my place. If the I'm not there then they have a pitbull to worry about, if "I" am there, the mossberg 500 will definitely make a lasting impression
I'm surprised the BG didn't get breaking and entering. That's worse than just stealing or trespassing, I believe. I was on the jury in a case where a bg was trying to get the lesser charges, but lets just say the evidence didn't help his case.
Reminds me of a scene from "Memento". The main character breaks into a BG's apartment and hides in the bathroom with a bottle of wine to ambush the guy, but he forgets after a few minutes and ends up taking a shower (thinking it was his own apartment). The bad guy comes home, and he jumps out of the shower naked and attacks when the BG is taking a #1.
An intruder called 911 because he thinks the property owner has guns.
“I just broke into a house and the owner came home,” Chapek told a police operator. “You broke into a house?” the surprised operator responded. “I think she’s got guns,” Chapek replied
So, after being charged with criminal trespass (which wasn't enough to hold him on), he skipped his court date and then went off and stole a car, drove it to Walmart and proceeded to load up the trunk with stolen merch. He's a real winner, this one.
