No kidding...I went INGO hat-hunting and failed miserably. Ah well, time to check out the hat-buying thread again.
Glad to see I'm not the only person thinking things were a little pricey this go-round. Found one dealer 'willing' to give me almost the sticker price on a used 10/22 with a dubious scope...after I talked him down. Wasn't worth the effort, so I went to Dick's Sporting Goods and found a brand new one for the same price (+/- sales tax), which I'll be picking up in a week or two.
