We constantly hear about misinformation, disinformation and endless opinions about it's danger. I think what leadership is pushing is really information purification, refining opinions and data to push a desired idea, discarding anything else. They want everything framed in their desired context so when a believer challenges your opinion with "source", there simply won't be any available.

Today we celebrate the first glorious anniversary of the Information Purification Directives

We have created for the first time in all history a garden of pure ideology, where each worker may bloom, secure from the pests of any contradictory thoughts.

Our Unification of Thoughts is more powerful a weapon than any fleet or army on earth.We are one people, with one will, one resolve, one cause.

Wikipedia is much different than when I attempted to archive it before the world ended in 1999. I think I have it somewhere on a hard drive on a windows 95 machine in the garage.

Depends on who you are marketing. Seems to me ignorance is eating that phrase up buy an awful lot of people; more than we care to realize.
