Shot in the face. That sucks for the Targrt. Hard to cover that up.
I refuse to call someone shot while breaking the law a "victim".

Bad guy is still alive and breathing...in the hospital. I wonder what he was shot with. Kudos to the Kroger employee. I am assuming he was shot one time? Living through two to the face just doesn't seem too likely.

Kroger is very anti-gun. the employee will be canned.

otoh, Kroger is union. I have seen cashiers get caught stealing red-handed from the register and be back on the job the next week.

What does this have to do with defending a fellow employee or stopping a robbery?

I don't know how much "power" the union at Kroger has, but I hope it is enough to help the employee keep his job.

I don't know where I will shop if Kroger cans this guy. I WILL NOT shop at walmart. I may speak with the manager at the Clarksville store tomorrow. Anyway, +1000 to that employee!

Oh sure - unions are so staunchly pro-rights when it comes to the 2nd Amendment.

Just as a side note, the employee who shot the would be robber, supposedly was a manager. I don't know much about the union structure at Kroger, but usually managers are not members of unions.
