Thanks all for the info. So based on the OPs can onn per IC sent a child to public shcool who have not had ANY or is missing some of the shots that the school lists as "needed" and write a letter that says based on religious grounds my child does not have shot "abc" and will not be getting shot "abc" this year. & do that year after year and still allow the child to attend the shcool?
Yes, you can go your entire life without a shot. The Government has no right to force you to get a vaccine, and deny you the public education that you are forced to pay for. Simply hand them a letter that says you claim exemption for either medical or religious reasons.
As for picking only certain vaccines to get, that is between you and your doctor. As far as the school knows you are an objector.
Having worked on the public safety emergency management planning end of the governmental response to epidemics or biowarfare, I can see what the schools are getting at by insisting that kids get vaccinated; but they go too far by insisting on the whole regime of vaccinations.
Yes, they go way too far. If they had a list of "recommended" shots I would be okay with that. If tomorrow their is a world epidemic of Chicken Pox, at least the people who got the recommended shots could carry on and repopulate the earth. But I think they have absolutely no grounds to require anything, or make people think that they are required. It is not the government's business.
Having said that, I have two nephews who are autistic; their symptoms showed up after their multiple vaccinations. I have another nephew who developed diabetes in Basic Training, after getting 16 vaccinations in one day, and one of my brothers came down with Guilliane-Barr Syndrome after taking an AF-mandated flu vaccination, so I'm not a big fan of forced vaccinations.
That is really sad. I know several personal friends and acquaintances who have similar stories or who have had other reactions, including my sister. Does anyone really believe that only 1 in 100000000000 people get a harmful reaction? Their numbers are total crap. The risks are dramatically higher than what they are willing to admit. And all these side-effects that turn into permanent diseases and disorders has to outweigh the possible risks of people having Mumps at some point.
