It would be really stupid for them to trash something that was created as an homage to Native Americans. I get the feeling that this group won't be made up of spoiled brats like the anti-Trump protests though. Hopefully the spoiled brats won't try to co-opt this cause as well and cause trouble.

They said the protest was organized by a local person; they DID NOT say it was organized by the American Socialists.
My guess is they didn't want people to dismiss the protest as politically motivated.
