Without it things would quickly become like craigslist. The forum would be clogged with people that have no intention of interacting with each other. There are already quite a few members that do nothing but camp in the classifieds. They've turned it into a business almost, built on the back of a successful site, and they are doing it for free, or at most the $20 per year.

This very thread is a tribute to the abuses and the things the mods & site have dealt with over the years. It goes back a long time. When you get bored and want some entertainment start at the first post here and read for a while. The now defunct runner threads are eye opening as well. Like the guy who decided to post "cool" as fast as he could to try and bypass the rules, the meltdowns when they get caught and called out, etc.

Entertainment at it's finest and still hoping to see them come back.

I have no intention of 'interacting with others' but I have no other place to go. I don't do facejerk or any other social media toilet bowls.

I thought INGO was the only place to go on the interwebs.

Have to say never been too forum where you have too have 50 posts. But I'm am glad this site does have it. Been a member on gun boards for years and that place is so full of spammers it's unreal. I put a want to buy ad on there one day a spammer messaged me the same day as he became a member the same day. Believe or not the same person has been deleted 5 or 6 times but he'll come back every day.

So any forum that's for getting rid of spammers and preventing them from coming here I'm all for it

You can't post in the classifieds or reply to a post via PM until you have reached 50 quality posts, and/or pay the $20 to get a site supporter badge. Replying outside of the classifieds is fine and encouraged, as long as they aren't one-liners used to up your post count just to get to 50.
