Until the Illinois State Po-po start issuing licenses.

CPD likely arrest you for Disorderly Conduct.

We were gettin' ready to shake out of that place
    When the Illinois state trooper
    Got in my face
He said, "You're on private property"
But once he cooled down he was okay
Sometimes you're golden, man that's all I got to say

I am not saying this; every single member of the Supreme Court of Illinois is saying this.
Note Update 2 from the link in the OP:
A footnote from the Aguilar decision:
Following the decision 3 in Moore, the General Assembly enacted the
Firearm Concealed Carry Act, which inter alia amended the AUUW statute
to allow for a limited right to carry certain firearms in public. See Pub. Act
98-0063 (eff. July 9, 2013), Neither the Firearm Concealed Carry Act nor
the amended AUUW statute is at issue in this case.

Chicago is going to be so unsafe now. I guess I will not be visiting the south side of Chicago anymore, no more Sunday drives thru the old south side. Ohhhhh wait I'm white, drive a Lexus, and carry guns. I don't visit there anyway as I would be robbed, and beaten to death by savages, or arrested and thrown in jail for being a legal gun owner who pays his taxes. Well carry on Chicago.

I feel sorry for all the little thugs in Chicago and Illinois as a whole having to share guns now. Just waiting for the ammo shortage to hit that area.
Anyone wanna bet that after a year or so in Illinois that after a few criminals are shot by law abiding citizens defending themselves that the crime rate will decline?
The bad people will no longer have reign of the streets without fear of reprisals from good people.

The problem is there are so many restrictions on carry it's hardly practical to do so. Then there's the cost and requirements to get a permit. But it is a start. I hope what you say is true. But the media has a way of burying self defense stories so that few people hear of them.

I wonder if initially the ChIraqi press will be able to tell the difference between justified self-defense shootings and just another Tuesday night on the mean streets of ChIraq. They might not know any better and initially, for maybe a year, you'll be able to see plenty of quality SD shoots trumpetted in the media. Of course, it'll be with the subtext of "Ain't it horrible how much more dangerous our fair Socialist enclave has become since those evil freedom lovers have made us get rid of our most heinous gun laws?"

" ¶ 21 Of course, in concluding that the second amendment protects the right to possess and use a firearm for self-defense outside the home, we are in no way saying that such a right is unlimited or is not subject to meaningful regulation"

What part of "shall not be infringed" do these attorneys and judges not understand??

The 2nd amendment doesn't say "shall not be infringed, except for meaningful regulation" or "shall not be infringed, but can be limited at government's desire." It says "shall not be infringed." Period. The end. Untilthe 2nd amendment is modifies and changes ratified by 2/3 of the states, no regulation should be permitted.
