Gun control support drops after Navy Yard shooting | WashingtonExaminer.com Apparently They have dropped a lot of weapons charges in Chicago.

I was under the impression that 'crook county's' commisariat didn't bother to charge thugs with violating gun laws, that those were for hassling the law-abiding?

I think it says the State Police is still refusing to issue carry licenses and will arrest you for carrying. To challenge it, you have to get arrested for carrying a gun. Who wants to do that?
