Some of you may know I have been saving for a few months to buy a new high end folder. I was looking at Emerson and some higher end Spyderco offerings and of course my go to for folders is usually Benchmade. But I wanted something different. So I checked out what I call the "forbidden zone" (knives over $300.00) and clicked onto Chris Reeve knives section at one of my go to online drooling sites. There I found Sebenza, a knife I had only read about but never thought I would own. Scrolling through I find one that strikes me like lightning. A large Sebenza 21 with the Celtic eternity knot engraved into it. But it was out of stock. Now I was on a mission and went out onto the internet to find the Celtic Sebenza. And find one I did, oh my droogies. At an online blade store I just happened to have an account set up with already. I had some reservations about spending so much on a pocket knife that I figured I would just put in the safe and look at once a year. But I got it in the mail this morning and It hasn't left my hands yet. I had to force my self to put it down to type this. Now that I have it I don't want to "collect" it. Everything I read is true, once you hold the Sebenza you want to use it, it becomes a knife you don't ever want to be without. I understand now. The only problem is now I want another one. Like I said, I think I just made an expensive mistake. This will cost me before it's over.
