When it comes to politics and human nature ANY victory only means a continued resolve to fight for whatever cause is being fought for. I do not advocate unnecessary violence, but they are trying to take rights from people who shoot things FOR FUN! They are lucky we don't all point our muzzles towards the white house and DEMAND our rights back! The fact that we don't proves we are not the kind of people they think we are.

Now, OP, after being swept with a loaded gun or having one pointed directly at my face, the thought has crossed my mind that "maybe a safety class or test wouldn't hurt.". But it's a slippery slope.

Example: we accept universal background and mental health checks (both technically in place now, but not really enforced) so they repeal NFA, and a few months later, we all have to fill out 10 pages of paperwork and wait an hour for confirmation, every time we purchase. Then, with new definitions of "mentally unstable", or "criminal". Nobody is eligible to purchase. Not at all worth it.

we can't give anymore. No compromises. We must take up the fight and band together. The second amendment is clear. If you believe in freedom, you know it isn't won by compromise!
