I got to thinking, Does any one on here wear a watch?

I have worn automatic, stainless/gold diver's watch for the last 7 or 8 years. My wife got me a larger, nicer one for Christmas this year.

I wear a watch every day. In the shower, washing dishes, everywhere. I got this for my 50th birthday a year and a half ago. I had never had a nice watch, and this was what I picked out.

I only wear a watch while at work. Many of my friends no longer do as they use their phones for their watches. But on the weekends and other times not at work, no watch for me.

I wear the same Seiko divers watch I had when I was active duty Navy. When ever I take it off, I still check my wrist for the time. I have a cell phone. It's for calls.

Always know the time and date at a glance, hands free, welding, driving, hunting, shooting - can't tell you how many times someone relying on a cell phone asked me the time or date. Cell phones are not always in your hand, batteries tend to run down, don't work well in water, seldom available in outdoor activities....

Cell phones, clocks and computers go dead too easy.

I've never counted. Best guess, probably around the same, and I'm sure I could throw some out.

No I don't wear a watch. I have a nice Rolex that I got for a graduation gift but I could never get used to wearing it.

Geez, I wish I was in your family. All I was given for graduation was a can of beer and a job application. But, back on topic, I feel naked without a watch on.

I've wore a wrist watch since I was eight. My first one was a Hop-a-long Cassidy watch. No longer have it, wear a Seiko self-winding now.

I cant carry my phone at work, plus its nice to have a second hand while on First Responder calls, so yes I wear one. It aint fancy, but its a watch, it works, and if it gets broke, Im not too terribly upset.

Last year was the first year we recommended the students in our rescue seminars bring a watch. Next year we are requiring it.

I've worn some variant of a G-Shock since I was 16. I've been through about ten of them as I keep destroying them.
