I can't tell from the pic, but if the nose and/or eyes are black, it is not an albino, but an even rarer white mink. Albino, by definition means the lack of pigment, so if there is any dark color anywhere on the body it is not an albino.

    Wow, that is cool.

I am no expert, but I used to have ferrets, and I don't think it's a ferret for a couple of reasons... the amount of fur on the tail, and the fact that this animal is "angery hissing and screaming" --- and I've never heard a ferret hiss or scream.

I have had several ferrets over the years, currently have 2, and trust me, they hiss all the time. Screaming on the other hand is another matter, and I have only heard them sort of squeek a couple of times when startled.
As far as the hair on the tail, it is hard to tell, ferretts can live in the wild, and considering the time of year, any outdoor animal would have a winter coat. The easiest way to tell the difference between a ferrett and a mink is the length of the neck. A mink has a "very" long neck, much longer than a ferrett, and the head is shorter from the base of the ears to the tip of the nose.

it is a mink, Indiana has lots of them.. they do get a winter white coat.. why was it in your garage? Do you feed stray cats? Do you have mice / rats in your garage ? or did it just come in to get warm ?
