I didn't read this entire thread so i don't know if this has been covered. I fully expect a billionaire to have more and better sex than I get. Being unfamiliar with Stormy Daniels, I looked at her online...........EEEEEEKKKK! Seriously? Is it just me? I find her uninteresting at best.{trying to be nice, we cant help much what we look like} Are there unusual skills involved that I should know about?

I don't know either. Maybe she was hotter 12 years ago, or maybe he did it just because he could. I have to admit, in my younger days, I lowered my standards a time or two just because circumstances allowed for immediate gratification. Maybe it was one of those situations for him.

Well, she is 39 now and 12 years ago she was 27. Of course she was hotter then. That is how life works. Didn't you know that?

Well, OK. I wasn't going to get harsh and judgemental but I guess I will go ahead and say it. At 39 Stormy Daniels is butt-ugly. And I would have guessed her to be more like 69. (!!! oops!) I am left incredulous that she is/was a pornstar because she is ugly and shaped oddly. Am I too harsh if I called her repulsive? I haven't watched her shows and am judging from still photos from google. I suppose it could be that hungry rat-like leer that is putting me off. At any rate I cant imagine a billionaire even giving her a first look. What am I missing? Is she a special personality? Because physical attraction isn't even up to average in my eyes.

    On hypocrisy--

Yup. Totally. Kut was right,too-- total hypocrisy on the Right, too.

The only way to avoid every being a hypocrite is to have either no sin or no standards. The higher your standards, the more likely you will fall short of them and thus, have sin. Now, as an Evangelical, was raised with the expectation that the "standard" is Christ's perfection, and thus we've all "sinned."

By my lights, the only way we indulge a charge of hypocrisy in others is first becoming one ourselves. Speck, plank, etc. We tell ourselves that someone else is certainly guilty of judgment for (insert "sin": being gay, smoking, drug use, etc), but that God has forgiven our coveting of that new Shadow 2 or Bergara and that lusting after another woman in our heart, or lying to that kid at the door trying to sell you crap for his school.

I remember as a kid hearing my mother (a Pastor's wife) gossip about church people all the time, or that one guy who wreaked of alcohol in church. Because gossip is just fine, but drinking is certainly earning you the condemnation for all eternity.

We forget ourselves and our own guilt.

Am I a hypocrite? Absolutely. And so are you.

And so is everyone who has a moral compass of any kind. We just like to tell ourselves that our particular variety of hypocrisy is less bad than someone else's so we can feel better about ourselves.

You misunderstand hypocrisy. You are not guilty of hypocrisy when you covet the Shadow 2 or lust in your heart after the hot twenty something at the mall; that is just plain old sinning

It becomes hypocrisy when you present yourself as "holier-than-thou" to others. The hypocrisy is acting in ways that are at odds with the purity you demand of others, and it is much more irksome than just plain old sinning

Both can be forgiven, just not by me

This pic is from 2008. She's not my cup of tea, but I don't think I'd call her repulsive. Her current behavior is repulsive.

    She's about 1000x better looking that Barack's husband. :):

The campaign finance angle is a leap I still cannot make. That also appears to be the strategic firewall. "He's a lying, philandering schmuck, but his campaign financials were untainted."

Unless and until we know where the money came from - which the FEC should be able to determine - I don't think that's the path to the criminal offense.

So I was wrong about that. Didn't see Cohen doing a complete 180 on that.

He thought his butt was left out in the wind, so he took steps to protect himself.

If by "his butt was left out in the wind" you mean he had failed to pay a buttload of taxes and is looking for some way out of the mess he created for himself...I heartily agree.
