How do you prepare for a storm surge that'll reach your ceiling?Might sound crazy, and this is just me, but if I lived in an area where flooding was common, I’d maybe, I dunno, have a **** ton of supplies and materials stockpiled to protect myself as much as possible. Again, that’s just me.
You don’t, but if you’re waiting in line for a few sandbags, you’re already screwed. How do you prepare for a storm surge that'll reach your ceiling?
Right. They don’t get hit as hard as the coasts, but they still get some ridiculous rainfall. I’m just saying, if it was me, and I lived somewhere where an overflowing stream or lake was a threat (which there’s a million of those in Orlando) I’d have material on hand so I didn’t have to stand in line to get what I needed. But this is Orlando. They're far enough inland that they don't usually get the worst of it. But, yeah...
Orlando isn’t exactly flood zone eitherThey were just showing people in Orlando filling sandbags. Limit of 25 forty lb. bags each. 25 sandbags aren't going to do squat unless they live in a tiny home.
