How to retrieve deleted FB post

Does anyone know how to retrieve a FB thread/comment that someone made then deleted it a short time later? I actually viewed it on my computer but left the page and of course when I came back they had deleted the entire thread. I just didn't know if there was a way for me to retrieve it or not. Thanks.

Have you hit "back" a lot and checked to see if it's there? FB may not cache anything and load new continuously.

Tried that, but FB refreshes often so all I got was the new page

No. They may decide they have a few questions for me.

In the future I will remember this, if I think it might be worth printing, print it. It was concerning a court case and may or may not be useful, I will contact the attorney and let him make that decision, but by not just printing it I have to sum up everything that I remember. And that is never as good as a hard copy of the actual text.

Back OT...

the he only way I know is to screen shot from the mobile app soon after it's posted. That doesn't update as fast so you are more likely to be able to retrieve it before the app updates the content again.
