Sorry it took so long but here is an update; after all I mistakenly thought the 19 was a gen 4, as I handled a few that day, and thought I saw gen 4 on the slide. It's actually a gen 3. I recently brought it home. Is it normal to have just the brush come with it and not a rod to help clean the barrel?

And yes, it comes with the brush attachment. Not a full cleaning rod.

I must be the luckiest Glock owner in the U.S. As noted earlier, ALL Gen 3's purchased came with 3 mags, even though (according to all the posts here) Gen 3's only come with 2.

See? 'Cute' DOES have it's advantages!

do you have a badge? Are you buying "blue labels"? Gen 4's=3 mags, Gen 3's=2 mags, UNLESS, you buy a "blue label" it comes with 3, with a caveat, 42's only come with two!

Gen 4 full size and compact come with 3, regardless of label color. Subcompact gen 4 comes with 2. No clue about the Glock 42.
