Not sure where I read this at but it dose happen that some dealers remove one mag from a gen4 and Glock is not happy with this. From what I read if you get only 2 mag with your gen4 call Glock and they will send you a mag but they also want the dealers name.

Pretty sure Gen 4 comes with 4. Gen 3 comes with 3. Gen 2 comes with 2...

You know, numbers matching and everything...

No no no... here is how it goes:

    Gen 4: 3 mags
    Gen 3: 2 mags
    Gen 2: 1 mag
    Gen 1: 0 mags

So to find the number of mags, use this simple formula:
    (Gen #) + 1 = Number of mags.

    Hope this helps.

I know what you're thinking. "Should he get three mags or only two?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a Glock Gen4, the most perfect handgun in the world, I am sticking with three.

Unfortunately "mag skimming" is a common practice with new guns, and I know there are some LGS's locally that do it.

Margins are tight sometimes on firearms, and if they can pocket a mag to put on the shelf, that mag is pure profit. Especially back when the panic was in full force.

With used guns, you can COUNT on them doing it. But there isn't anything wrong with that. But you have to know those used guns on the shelf sure the heck didn't come in with just one mag.

I've never seen this! But I have heard about it... That would **** me off! I feel like I couldn't keep my mouth shut about it either. i had a guy behind the counter lie to me about the mark up % they had on their Glocks. I called him on his crap too, and man did he get pissed. Somedays I just wake up in that kind of mood though, but I always hate dishonesty.
