I used to like them, but now most of them (even the classics) do not interest me enough to spend the time watching them.
Add to my lack of interest the fact that Sean Connery and the new guy (Daniel Craig?) are both vehemently anti-individual RKBA, and my interest wanes to zero.
The Ian Fleming books that I read when I was younger were much better.[/quote]
Yep, Ian Fleming, John Gardner, Raymond Benson ( a couple ); they wrote the best 'Bond' books.
Interestingly enough to write about, Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig are the two 'Bonds' that actually represent Fleming's original James Bond character the most.
Bond was a ruthless, calculating-loner who's soul ties were to MI6 and 'M'. 'M', then, was a retired Navy Admiral who was course and disliked Bond's frivilous acts with women and booze. I enjoyed reading them. I've actually got 90% of the entire collection. Someday I'll actual have the books published in Britain.
