Too many, no wait, I do not have any stored in the barn! Better get some more!:D

In two ammo cans I have 67, 20 rounders Colts marked .222, .223 & 7.62 x 39. USGI's plus some 30 rounders and some 20 & 30 Ruger Mini 14 Mags. That is two cans I can see easy. Hey mags are one of those things that you will see at a show and say "hey that is good price" I will get 2 or 3, well maybe 4 or 5. If you do that at every show over the years they start to add up:D----- but you never get enough!

well that is what I tell the wife "it's only One More!" :ingo:
PS. at the Nappanee show I bought 3 factory Ruger 20 rounders and two USGI M14 mags. Seen some 20 & 30 round AR mags and I am thinking "I should have got some of them"!!:):

I have ten mags for each ar 80 total.:draw:

:+1: I have Two complete rifles and three stripped lowers. I would like to have 10 for each rifle. I don't currently have an accurate count though. Like some of the others, I have a box of 10 I've only opened and inspected and opened one in the wrapper, about half a dozen on one shelf of the gun cabinet just bought 8 from another board member, at least three bouncing around in the wife's van and two in my truck, and I believe there are about 4 to 6 in my locker here at work..... Oh wait there are five in my rifle case with my 16"M4. Out of all of them only one of them is loaded. :patriot:

I guess I have about 18- 20rds (14 in bandoliers, loaded) and about 24-30rds. I store my 5.56 mostly in bandoliers on stripper clips in ammo cans. The rest I leave in boxes.

I look at magazines as an investment. The next surge that is sure to come, you'll feel much better about having 30rd mags laying around that you bought for less than $10 when they are selling for $30 a piece.

Is there another way to store ammo? LOL.

I keep all my AR ammo on stripper clips, so when I get to the range I spend more time shooting and less time loading.

I don't like leaving a bunch of magazines loaded, when I can have them ready to load in seconds and make life easier on the mag spring. I'm a big fan of stripper clips.

I noticed someone talking about buying them by the case-load and I got to wondering.

    How many magazines?
I normally buy by the case! :rockwoot:

As a matter of fact, I just bought 200+ a few months back.

You know, I need them for my 15+ AR rifles, and my 50K rounds of ammo!

Eh, I guess sometimes its good to dream. ;)

I only have 2 P-mags... I got tired of wondering if they were going to fit my various lowers.

Have about 7 or 8 30 rd. Brownells 30 rounders... And about 10 20 rd'ers. I prefer the 20's. Makes it easier to shoot off the bench/ground when I need to.
