While I don't like the concept of the radical gay agenda in our schools, I do support the Gay gun organization PINK PISTOLS and suggest that they are our allies in the 2nd Amendment.

I choose to send my daughter to Catholic Schools because of a lot of reasons, a very small part of which is related to the radical gay agenda. But when it comes to gun rights, I'm happy to stand side by side with members of the PINK PISTOLS and members of ANY OTHER group that is pro 2A. Be they of a different race, different religion, different sexual orientation, whatever.

I think we need to be INCLUSIVE and not EXCLUDE any people who may be pro-gun. My experience with Pro-Gun people is that we are black, white, yellow and brown. We are rich and poor. We are men, women, young and old. We are blue collar and white collar. We are straight, gay and even confused. Christians, Jews, Muslims and Atheists. It will take all of us, in concert, to maintain our rights.

Anyone that is pro gun is a brother (or sister) of mine. We need to stand together despite our differences. I am not saying that I approve or disapprove homosexuality, but in the fight to protect our 2nd amendment rights, why does sexual orientation matter? We are all fighting for the same cause.

I have not had a chance to watch the whole video yet though.

Here is a link to a site where by answering a few questions you can help stop the homosexual agenda in our schools and in our government.

Silencing Christians | One-Hour National Special

Hope its ok to post this here.

I didn't watch the entire video this evening (will later) but it pretty much diagrams the techniques of the Liberal Progressive PC Take Over of America. The desensitization, the labeling, the twisted media reporting and the educational revisionists are all techniques in their twisted play book. :yesway:

Edit: I didn't see anything in the OP chastising Homosexual 2nd Amendment Advocates or Pink Gun Owners. Maybe, I missed it but the OP stated schools and government advocating homosexuality.

There are some things gay activists are working for that seem reasonable to me.

There are also some things they are working for that I do not consider reasonable.

I think we should be able to live together with people we disagree, without trying to push our values down each others' throats. Unfortunately there are violators of this principle on both sides of the issue.

Personally, I would rather not get too much in to this issue on a firearms site. As Melensdad points out, there are a lot of gay shooters and I'd like to be allies with them on the things we can agree with.

I'm not a moderator, it's not my site, and it's not my job to police what can be said here and what can't.

However, from experience with other gun boards, I believe it is generally best to focus on the issues that can unite gun owners, and avoid driving anyone away or making them feel unwelcome. Some of these folks are our friends on RKBA issues and I'd like to keep them that way.

I'll spare you all with my "radical babel" as most call it, but to me - wrong is wrong, and being Homosexual is wrong.

Do I hate homosexuals? No. Do I like their lifestyle? No. Do I approve of their actions? No. Do I want this crap "preached" in our school systems? No.

I'm not even going to address the OP, except perhaps indirectly.

I'm more concerned with the fact that there are people calling to silence the speech the OP engaged in. Those people disagree with the thoughts in that post, so we shouldn't discuss them here? I think leftists are traitors to the Constitution. Should we ban discussion of leftist thought here because some of us find it uncomfortable or repugnant?

Ya'll have made the point about how dangerous and pernicious the agenda addressed in the OP is, if we aren't even allowed to disagree with it publically.

I'm not a hater just so you folks know. I just wanted people to know what kinda sway the homosexual agenda has garnered in our government and our school system. I have no beef against any one particular homosexual person. I do however have a problem with them telling me I have to say their behavior is ok and that they can tell my kids its a good lifestyle choice. Won't stand for that.
I can "tolerate" alot of crap but it doesn't mean I accept it. Turnand shoot, homeschool is an option but I can't homeschool my gov't. The hate crime legislation they keep proposing is giving them more rights than anyone else. If a guy attacks an old lady he gets X years in prison, attack a homosexual man and he get 3X years. Its simple, they want assistance from the government to help them cram this stuff down our throats and make us say its ok.

I thought this was a Gun Owner Forum? And the most powerful influence is the Parent's Actions and Deeds and not words.
    EXACTLY.

For those of us who do not want the "radical homosexual agenda" in our schools we have options. 1, send your kids to private schools, not only is the education better but these radical ideas are not there. 2, get involved with your local school and fight this stuff. 3, homeschool. 4, send your kids to public school and keep your eyes closed and remain ignorant...your kid will be exposed to far more than JUST the radical gay agenda, heck he/she will be exposed to liberals of all sorts. :n00b:

But SINCE we are a gun board, and since we are here for gun issues, I'd hate to see this become a board that does not show any tolerance of those with SOME ideas different than ours. I had breakfast with an openly gay man yesterday, we talked about several things, not one of which was sex, sexual agenda, or schools. There are many pro-2A gays that are not 'radical homosexuals' pushing the "gay agenda" into the school. Personally I'd walk side by side with those folks in the 2nd Amendment March that is scheduled for Washington DC in April of next year.

They are fighting for my rights, just like many other 'sub groups' in this very diverse culture of ours.:patriot:

I support and treasure the first amendment as much as I do the second. We are a diverse nation in many dimensions, and that is fine with me.

The left in our country, however, have taken on some characteristics of a fascist movement. They are attempting to abridge the right to free speech of those who disagree with them. And they are having some success at it.

What I would support is a movement that would get the schools back in the business of educating our kids rather than indoctrinating them. I don't want them to be indoctrinated with values at all, whether I agree or disagree with those values. I want them to learn to read and write and add and subtract. Discipline and values have to come from home.

Melensdad " don't be so open minded that your brains fall out." "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" only goes so far.
I have no problem with gay folks that support the second amendment. (I think they are in a destructive lifestyle that, in the end they will wish they never became involved in)I do however have a problem with them if they think its necessary to tell my kids in a public school that guys kissing each other is a natural and accepted action. And that they should have their own laws to make their behavior valid.
The forum say "politics laws and the 2nd amendment"
If my post is excluded from all of those categories I would hope the moderators would delete it. It is a political post after all.

That is only a viable option if we then get to quit paying taxes. Otherwise, I'm paying for my child's education in public schools, and I'm not interested in paying to advance the liberal or homosexual agendas.

Parents here is what you do. Every morning when the kids get ready to head out the door I take time to say pledge alligence to the flag and quick prayer. Do this everyday. Explain why you are doing it. How many schools still say the pledge of allegince everyday?

Like rmcrob said. "Discipline and values have to come from home."

While helping with homework everyday I all so take time deprogram the liberal agenda of our school sytem (Anderson Community Schools). I make sure the history of our fore Fathers and there stuggles are understood. Sometimes I arm my son with a question or 2 for the teacher. Needless to say parent teacher conferences are short and sweet.

+1. It is a perverision of the mind, and lately, a trend/fashionable thing to 'be'. To me, they are no different than a rapist, or child molester. Sickness of mind is sickness.

I won'y have my children 'educated' on the merits of 'alternative' lifestyle, no matter how socially acceptable the sickness becomes. Nor will I stand w/ someone just b/c they happen to like firearms and the shooting sports.

It's time men become men and actually 'man up' and declare what homesexuality is... decadence. Intolerance on many levels has brought us to the weird society that we live in. Where the distinction between men and women in dress and action and sexual lifestyle has been blurred beyond all sense of normality. Call me intolerant... whatever... I'm man enough call the sickness what it is.

Who with or how someone likes to have sex is a pretty meaningless issue to me. Now, I don't want schools pushing a position one way or another on my child. The schools can't even manage to perform their primary mission, which is to teach how to read, write and mathematic, so a damned sure don't want them messing around with tricky philosophical issues. As far as schools pushing agendas, I'm more afraid of their mission to create a bunch of little socialists - or put another way, slaves.

If I were a homosexual, I'd be worried about aligning with the socialists. Judging from the prisons of the Soviet Union and Cuba, socialism and same-sex love don't mix.

As to lesbians, based on the way I feel about women, I think I might be a lesbian trapped in a man's body.
