So tonight, I had to do some work on my wife's truck, and needed my nice Fluke multimeter, I go to my roll-away and lo and behold it is missing, I NEVER leave it anywhere so I started getting concerned and started looking and found that all my fishing poles and tackle box and spare reels are gone, my nice framing nail gun is gone. I then start taking more of an inventory, and notice the following missing, and I need help from the community with this.

    200 fully loaded 30 rd AR-15 magazines (6000 rounds .223)
    3000 - 3500 rounds of .223 (loose)
    200 rounds .223 steel core
    50000 - 60000 rounds of .22 long rifle
    1200 - 1300 rounds of .243
    2800 - 3000 rounds of .40
    300 - 400 rounds .380
    100 - 150 rounds .357
    100 - 150 rounds .38 special
    1000 - 1100 rounds 12 gauge
    100 - 150 rounds of .22 hornet

    IMR 3031 - 10 - 11 lbs
    Bullseye - 3 - 4 lbs
    Unique - 10 - 11 lbs
    IMR 4064 - 3 - 4 lbs
    IMR 4350 - 2 - 3 lbs
    Red Dot - 8 lbs
45000 - 50000 assorted primers (sm pistol lg pistol sm rifle lg rifle)

Numerous ammo cans that all of this ammunition and powder was stored in.

For the amount of ammunition that was stolen, someone would have to have backed up a pickup truck and loaded it down.

I have already filed a police report and am waiting on the detective to call me back.

holy hell man, that sucks so bad. I hope you get your stuff back. I would imagine that took a long time to accumulate.

There aren't too many types of people lower than thieves.

Good luck. Let us know if this prick gets busted.

I have been purchasing for years, they got my main ammo hoard, but I still have some in reserve and some at my dad's house... thank God.

Was this in an attached garage? i'd be checking out what else might be missing in the house too.

Sux man. I hope you're able to recover it.

Oh crap. I feel bad for you. Hopefully someone will try to sell and get caught. I know I would be pissed to. Was this taken from your garage or house?

Man, that totally sucks. Might need to get another gun safe just for ammo, to prevent this from happening again.

    Hopefully they find your stuff.

well, now we know why there is an ammo shortage happening. It's all being stockpiled in southern Indiana.

It sounds like someone knew you had a stockpile and purposefully targeted you. That is a LOT of ammo. Hope things work out for you.

No words I could type would make the feeling of being violated go away. I am truly sorry that you had to go through something like this. Let's hope that fate is on your side and one of the turds involved in this loses a digit or two messing with that powder.

Holy crap is that a lot of ammo!

Did they leave tire tracks? Surely they'd have been weighed down.

PS - why so many AR mags? :dunno:

That is what I said, that would be a truck load. As for tracks, nope, at least nothing that was visible, you know driveway, and concrete... As for why so many mags, well I was working on 100 per AR that I own, and I have 3 AR's at the moment.
