The fact that this happened just makes me sad. Even if someone hadn't seen the movie, which I do find inconceivable, one would think that person would assume it was a quote of some sort. I don't know many people that walk around with a shirt on sporting their name and a message stating your mission in life. Common sense, people...

That's one of our top 5 movies at home and it is often quoted at work as well! I've probably seen it 20 times.

I love it as a fencer because all that stuff those guys did is (as much as a movie can be) legit. This whole conversation:

Inigo: You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
Westley: I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Westley: Naturally, but I find that Thibault cancels out Capo Ferro. Don't you?

is actually largely correct! (note "estudied is not incorrect spelling. It compensates for that outrageous accent)
